KEDS informs all customers that comprehensive preparations have been made for the year-end holidays.

Throughout the summer, all scheduled maintenance of the electricity distribution network was completed, and close to 280 projects were implemented under the investment plan to ensure a stable network.

For the year-end holidays, KEDS has mobilized around 1,000 workers who will be on duty to ensure our customers celebrate with lights. In addition, KEDS has engaged sufficient machinery as logistical support for workers to enable swift and effective intervention when needed. For the holiday period, 135 vehicles and machinery will be available, including 68 cars, 31 platforms, 16 heavy machines, 16 excavators, and 4 cable-detection vehicles.

Currently, challenges persist in the regions of Ferizaj, Gjakova, Rahovec, Prizren, and Gjilan due to overloading issues. In Malisheva, thanks to the implementation of the super-conductor by KEDS, capacities have doubled, and the situation is significantly improved compared to previous years.

We call on all customers to save electricity wherever possible. Special attention should be paid to heating with electricity. We urge customers to use alternative heating methods if available. Every effort to save energy contributes to reducing the load and improving the situation for everyone.
