Hundreds of businesses in Pristina, located on the Pristina - Ferizaj highway, already have a completely new electric network of medium voltage.

In the Industrial Zone of the capital, where some of the largest businesses in the country are headquartered, KEDS is making a capital investment by doubling the capacity of the distribution network.

The Feeders from the Prishtina 7 Substation are being converted from 10kV to 20kV and traverse a long trajectory of over 10 kilometers. Most of the transformers have already been converted, while the remaining ones are expected to be converted soon with similar capacity. Couple of days ago, 50 such transformers were converted, while 30 were converted yesterday. During the following days, the conversion cycle of transformers in that part will be completed with about 20 more transformers.

This KEDS investment is expected to have a direct impact on the country's economy, as many businesses located in that area will have significantly better-quality and safer services.

Furthermore, this project contributes to increasing the security of the electricity grid, ensuring that the electricity supply infrastructure is stable and able to cope with the growing energy demands in this area.
KEDS, since the beginning of operations, has continuously invested in thousands of projects for domestic consumers, as well as in the improvement of the distribution network in areas where businesses are located.

In the region of Pristina, dozens of important projects are being implemented to improve services to consumers, while throughout Kosovo this year, the realization of 250 projects is expected, as outlined in the investment plan.
