The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kosovo initiated a meeting with KEDS, to talk about the challenges of businesses related to electricity distribution. In the meeting participated our colleagues from KEDS, the Director of Customer Services, Sabri Tërnava together with the Director of System Operations Bujar Jupaj, as well as the Manager of Customer Services, Blerton Mustafa.

Among the main points of discussion were the applications of businesses to increase the capacities of transformers, the challenges with the ownership of the land for the installation of transformers, the deadlines for requests for Electric Energy Permits for Prosumers for subsidizing solar panels, the deadlines for approving the applications of solar energy producers, etc.

The representatives of the company emphasized that the deadline for approving the applications of solar energy producers is 7 days, while the delays come as a result of the lack of matching of the capacity offered by the network and the capacity approved by ERO. For this reason, KEDS representatives advise businesses to apply for increased capacity before requesting network connection, in order to avoid delays.

For some time now, KEDS has created special lines for business customers, so that they can carry out all the procedures they need without having to wait in line. In addition, commercial customers can also write through our special communication channel: bizline@keds-energy.com.
