Two projects in the energy network are being implemented in the low and medium voltage by the Maintenance team in the village of Ruhot in Peja.

KEDS' investments are enhancing the natural beauty of this village, located on the edge of the White Drin River. A team of 13 workers is diligently working in Ruhot, and they are expected to complete the second project within a few days. This will provide the residents with a completely new energy network, rendering the old one obsolete.

KEDS has constructed a new transformer with a capacity of 250 kVA and has reconstructed two other existing transformers in the village. During the project, a total of 41 medium-tension concrete poles and 27 low-tension poles were installed. Additionally, electric cables were laid over a length of 4,000 meters. The beneficiaries of this project will be the consumers in the village.

The implementation of this project will regulate the low-voltage network and include the installation of the PLC system in the village. Xhafer Tishukaj, the coordinator of Maintenance in the Peja District, stated, "Many investment projects have been completed in the Peja region by KEDS maintenance teams, and many more are expected to be completed."

He adds, "Last year alone, we implemented 10 investment projects in the Peja District through maintenance teams. Notable projects include Maja e Zeze, Qallapeku, Ozdrim, Kulla, LP 10 kV Kastrati, Gllareva, Krusheva e Madhe, etc. We are now in the process of starting work on the Lodge project."

In addition to investments through maintenance teams, KEDS is realizing many other projects through contractors. These strong investments are modernizing the network in the western part of the country, offering safer and higher-quality services to consumers in that area and throughout the entire territory.
