Within the framework of the implementation of the cooperation between KEDS and the Center for Energy and Sustainability of the University of Pristina, UP professors are holding lectures with the students of KEDS Academy 11.

The last lecture was "Alternative Energies" by Professor Naser Sahiti.

In the lecture, renewable energy, heat pumps, the global situation regarding energy consumption, and challenges towards the energy transition were first discussed.

Regarding his lecture for the first time in the KEDS Academy program, the professor added:

"I consider that such a program will result in a significant contribution in terms of the professional preparation of students.

In this aspect, I appreciate the contribution of KEDS in the preparation of frameworks, which is in function of creating a sustainable energy system.

Last weekend, students of the Faculty of Engineering, Economics, and Law eagerly listened to the lecture of Professor Majlinda Daci on environmental pollution and environmental sustainability, respectively the impact of chemical factors on pollution and their mass elimination for a clean environment.

"With KEDS Academy students, such training is being carried out for the first time within the cooperation agreement between UP and KEDS. Of the four modules that will be taught, in my training "Green processes for sustainability", students will also learn about climate change, global warming, and the objectives of sustainable development", says Professor Daci.

Students will be able to transfer the knowledge gained from these lectures and training to the current development in Kosovo, such as decarbonization, mitigation, and adaptation to climate change.
